Minecraft Gaming

Want to learn about and play Minecraft at the Library? We have a tutorial world where you can learn the basics of the game and play on Wednesday, December 3 at 6:00 pm.  Seating is limited and registration is required.  Call 740-852-9543 to sign up today.  This program is only for teens 10 - 17 years old.  Download the flyer here!

London's Old Fashioned Christmas at the Library

Celebrate London's Old Fashioned Christmas at the library on Monday, December 1 from 6 - 7:30 pm.  There will be holiday crafts for kids to make, refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library, and a reading of "Pete the Cat Saves Christmas". Plus, Pete the Cat will be at the library to give everyone a holiday hug or handshake. 

The Arctic Express

The whole family will enjoy this holiday show by Conductor David Hennig on Monday, December 8 at 6:30 pm.   Using magic tricks, puppets, stories, and music, kids will be introduced to how people of different cultures celebrate the winter holidays!  Download the flyer here!

Movie Nights @ the Library

Every month the library hosts movie times for community members to enjoy. We have our Family Movie Night, where we show a family oriented film (G - PG) on the library's big screen and sound system.  For mature audiences, we offer our Movie Night Out showing which features a popular film that is typically rated PG-13. During the show times, attendees are offered free popcorn and a drink, typically punch.

  • Family Movie Night - Dolphin Tale 2 (PG), Thursday, December 18, 6:00 pm
