Take a look at America’s Greatest Generation on the home front during WWII with historian and author Michael Eckers on Monday, October 24 at 6:30 pm.
Eckers has studied American military history since his early teens. Service in the US Navy at the end of Vietnam created in him a desire to honor those who have sacrificed for our freedoms. Eckers has written several books on the Civil War, WWI & WWII
Books will be available to be purchased as well as signed at the end of the event.
Hey kids and parents, be a part of setting a World Record by joining the library in the reading of The Bear Ate Your Sandwich. Plus, enjoy doing a craft in this fun and record-breaking program on Thursday, October 27 at 6:30 pm. As a special gift, the Friends of the Library are providing a free copy of the book to families. Restrictions may be applied.

Enjoy an evening on Wednesday, November 2 at 7 pm learning the art of painting with local artist Karla Knief in a hands-on workshop. Registration and a fee is required! Patrons must sign up at the library and pay $15 to attend this hands-on workshop. Please make checks payable to Karla Knief.

Do you love trying new recipes and sharing dishes? Do you love browsing cookbooks and eating food with your friends? Then Cookbook Book Club is for you. We pick the cookbook or cookbook author. We reserve copies that you can pick-up at the library. You choose and make the recipe of your choice and then we gather on the third Wednesday of the month to share our dishes. Please bring a copy of your recipe.
