Any Ohio resident 5 years old and above may obtain a London Public Library card by filling out a registration card and providing a state issued photo ID with a current address. If the state identification does not have a current address, a utility bill will be accepted for address verification. Parents or legal guardians must have a library card in good standing prior to opening a library account for juveniles.
Cards for juveniles (ages 5 – 17) must have a parent’s or legal guardian’s signature. It is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to monitor juvenile cards and activity of those cards. The parent or legal guardian is also responsible for all lost or damaged materials and fines or fees on juvenile accounts.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for their youngsters’ selection of materials. The Library does not restrict any materials to anyone with a London Public Library card.
New library accounts will be placed on “Limited” status for 30 days with a maximum of 5 items on the account at any given time.
If you have lost your library card, you can get a replacement for $2.00.
A Library card or valid photo ID must be presented to check out Library materials. Lost, damaged or stolen Library cards will be replaced for a fee of $2.00. It is the patron’s responsibility to notify the Library if his/her card is stolen.
