E-Readers Program at the Library (9/13/2011)
Do you have an E-Reader? Do you want an E-Reader but you’re not sure which one to purchase? Would you like to learn how to borrow items from your library with your E-Reader?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions the London Public Library has a way to answer them. A Best Buy E-Reader Specialist will be on-hand September 28th with various devices to show their functionalities and differences while Library Support Specialist, Jack Phoenix, will be there showing participants how to borrow an e-book from the library. Bring your questions about the various E-Reader devices as well as the library’s e-book collection and they will be answered during this informational program beginning at 6:30pm on Wednesday, September 28th in the Library’s Hartley Room.
Fun at the Library (9/9/2011)
The London Public Library invites students from Kindergarten through 8th grade to our Early Dismissal programs in September and October. Programs begin at 2:30 PM on both Tuesday, September 13th and Tuesday, October 11th. On September 13th students will have a chance to create their own Pet Rocks with rocks, paint and other supplies provided by the library and their creativity will be needed again on October 11th when we will be using old puzzle pieces to create recycled art. We hope that you will take advantage of your Early Dismissal to come do something fun at the library!
